COVID19 Window Coverings Appointment Etiquette

What can you do to have a safe appointment during the corona-virus pandemic? It is possible with a few practical steps!

Wearing a mask?

Everyone loves wearing a mask! Yes? No, not in reality. Not everyone is going to have the same ideas on what is safe, and what is not. And we respect that we all have different opinions. Although, we are trying to do our best at Lakeview Designs to follow the majority guidelines, what is laid out to us by the local authorities. So for your consultations and installation appointments, please help us help you, by wearing a mask, and we will be wearing one as well! Hoping to keep everyone as safe as possible, which sometimes means wearing a mask for a few minutes. We thank you for your willingness to do this!

Social Distancing

It can be hard to keep a distance on a window covering's consultation. Here are some practical tips to try and work with:

• Please give 6ft of space or more when allowing one of us in your home.

• Have a counter clean and ready for our sample books. So we can leave them for you to look while we measure your windows.

• Refrain from standing directly next to us at your windows. Instead, feel free to send us notes (via email lakeviewinstall@gmail.com) before your appointment, so we have a general idea about any concerns you may want to address. This way we can keep our appointments a little shorter than the norm.

Although this can seem a bit awkward compared to our "normal" appointments, we do appreciate so much your efforts, and look forward to helping you with your projects even during this out-of-ordinary time in history.

Cleaning Up

While we don't expect to have to eat off of your window wells, we do appreciate our work area being nice and ready for us. If there is any furniture in the way of us working on your window or measuring, kindly have it scooted to the side before our arrival, as this helps make things so much smoother!
